Bad dog nail clippers can be a nightmare. These are great - for the price anyway. They are sharp but not ridiculously sharp and they fit good in my hands so I can get the right angle. I have hurt one dog before, on accident, and certainly don’t want to ever do that again. I am very happy with these trimmers and am able to do a very good trim with them.
